The Global LI Industry Forum was constituted, inter alia, as an industry association for the purposes of adopting and publishing technical requirements and standards for Lawful Interception that both to facilitate interoperability among LI devices and systems, and to meet specified regional or national requirements for communications assistance for law enforcement. The GLIIF undertakes this activity through its Standards Committee (in formation). |
